A one-man exhibition of Margarita Siourina was presented on November 16, 2009, at XVI International ART-November-09 Festival of Arts in MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL MUSIC CENTRE. The artists exhibited 16 canvasses to the public.

Each work was accompanied with ‘a poetical illustration’ from rubáiyát by Omar Khayyam; the extracts got naturally woven into exposition texture. What is more interesting; both the poetry and the paintings were in harmony with virtuosic concert in Chamber Hall of Music Centre at ART-November-09 Festival of Arts:
NEW RUSSIAN QUARTET played music by F. P. Schubert and J. Brahms. An Azerbajan pianist MURAD HUSAINOV took part in the concert.

A one-man exhibition of Margarita Siourina CLOS-LUCE-CHUFUT-KALE was presented on November 4 – 14, 2009, at XVI International ART-November-09 Festival of Arts in the M.I.TSVETAEVAHOUSEMUSEUM in Borisoglebskiy Pereulok. The artist exhibited 40 canvasses.
In the halls, landscapes of France and the Crimea were exhibited side by side. The concept of the two locations, in France and in the Crimea, threaded the exposition and gave the event its name.
"One of the focal canvasses is Le Clos Lucé containing an artistic quotation: the famous self-portrait of Leonardo dated 1512. And one perceives the castle, where Leonardo invited by Francois I, the King of France, had spent 3 last years of his life, as an invitation to a fairy-tale…"

"In the concert hall of the Museum, there are spring landscapes of the Crimea, shimmering pearl of seashells on the beach, still-lifes with flowers. The Artist vividly plays on the name of the Poet: Marina belongs to the sea, Tsvetayeva reminds you of flowers... This is the Artist’s offering to the Poet."

The Vernisage was held on November 4, 2009. Senoiur Secretary of ‘The Tretyakovskaya Gallery’ Magazine and Art-Director of the Festival Natella Iliynichna Voiskounski opened the exhibition.
The centre of the exposition were two paintings mounted on easels in front of a large museum mirror:
"Clos-Luce. Leonardo" (1996), facing the visitors with a canvass “Leonardo’s script” (2009) as its ‘back side’ painted specially for the display in the TSVETAEVA HOUSE MUSEUM, and mirror reversal of Marina’s portrait and her verse lines. A visitor could see ‘a normal’ view of the verse and the whole painting as reflection in the mirror. For the artist, the work was a dedication to Marina Tsvetaeva on the one hand, and addressing to the famous mirror diaries by Leonardo da Vinchi, on the other. Margarita is a left-hander, she is able to read and write both from left to right and vice versa. With that canvass, the artist started to work upon the theme, which would be presented at forthcoming exhibitions.
The painting "Leonardo’s script" stayed in The Marina Tsvetaeva House Museum, currently it is in the museum’s storeroom.

After the Vernisage, a wonderful concert was given in the concert hall: the STATE QUARTET named after SHOSTAKOVICH played the music by A. Borodin, R. Schumann and D. Shostakovich.
Margarita Siourina is very thankful to the musicians who are the legend of our country for the remarkable evening. In appreciation and by ART-November tradition, the artist presented her graphic sheets from the series “Album Scetches” to the musicians.
The concert is over. Empty's the hall. Long live new concerts, music and all!
On November 14, 2009, a solo concert of a talented Azerbajan pianist MURAD HUSAINOV took place at closing of CLOS-LUCE-CHUFUT-KALE exhibition. The musician played the music by Claude-Achille Debussy, Joseph-Maurice Ravel, Sergei Rachmaninov. The artist would like to express her gratitude to Murad Husainov to BOUTA ARTS CENTRE for the wonderful evening.
